New Concert: Taylor Swift

On March 7th, Taylor Swift was in the Netherlands for her Speak Now tour. I was there with a few friends and had a great night!

It was Taylor's first time in the Netherlands. The concert wasn't totally sold out, but Ahoy Rotterdam was filled for more than 3/4. Taylor and her band made it a big show. There were two stages, one big stage where she was most of the time, and a little stage where she went in the middle of the show. She played the acoustic and the electric guitar, the piano and the ukulele. Everybody was screaming, singing a-long, dancing and had a lot of fun. Taylor promised at the end she would come back, and I'm totally gonna see her again when she's back.

Taylor's supporting act was Tom Dice, a singer-songwriter from Belgium. In 2008, he won the belgian X-factor. He represented Belgium at the European songfestival in 2009 and became 6th with his song Me and My Guitar. His debutalbum was released April 30 last year. On March 7th, he started Taylor's concert at 8 PM and sang a few of his songs, from which Me & My Guitar and Always & Forever were two, and a few lyrics from Taylor's Enchanted and B.o.B.'s Airplanes. He ended his act around 8.30.
